Happy (almost) Thanksgiving weekend! In addition to family and friends, I’m definitely thankful for all the wonderful books I’ve read so far as a part of this year’s 50 Book Pledge! 1. New Fantastic Beasts News!

Eeek! We received some new Fantastic Beasts news this week, Savvy Readers! First, Ellen unveiled a new trailer on her show (watch here) and then the cover for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Magical Creatures Coloring Book was revealed! See the beautiful cover here. My pencil crayons are all lined up in anticipation!

2. This Week in Awards News…


The Governor General’s Literary Awards shortlists were announced this week! One of Canada’s oldest and most prestigious award, the Governor General’s Literary Awards features titles in both English and French. A special congratulations to Kerry Lee Powell (Willem De Kooning’s Paintbrush), Kamal Al-Solaylee (Brown), and Mikaela Everett (The Unquiet).
