2. George Elliott Clarke Partnering With… U2?
Here’s an unlikely pairing: George Elliott Clarke, our current Canadian Parliamentary Poet Laureate, will be featured in the upcoming U2 tour. According to the CBC, U2 will “project [two poems by George Elliott Clarke] on screens” before their concert. Find out more about the collaboration here.
3. TCAF is This Weekend!
Heads up, comics fans in Toronto! The Toronto Comic Arts Festival starts soon! That’s right, hundreds of comic artists will be gathering at the Toronto Reference Library this weekend. Stop by to check out some cool art, attend an event, or meet your favourite artists in person! (Psst. Jomny Sun, Dave McKean, and Elise Gravel will all be signing at the HarperCollins Canada booth!) 4. Get Your Reading On with the Savvy Readathon!
