1. Oprah’s New Club Pick

Oprah Winfrey had a big announcement this week! She revealed her latest Oprah’s Book Club pick: An American Marriage by Tayari Jones.

2. #AngieThomasAppreciationDay

This week, The Hate U Give author Angie Thomas was overwhelmed with support on Twitter with the hashtag #AngieThomasAppreciationDay. The hashtag began after it was revealed that actor Kian Lawley will be recast in the upcoming adaptation of The Hate U Give after he was filmed using racial slurs. Fans of the book showed their support for Angie:

3. Library Borrowing Records of Famous Readers

Ever wanted to know your favourite author’s reading preferences? Well this library in New York can provide you with that information! The New York Society Library archives allow you to see the borrowing histories of its past readers. Now you can follow in the footsteps of the greats, like Road Dahl and even Alexander Hamilton, and read the same books! Even the borrowing cards look like art! Check out more here.
